Yes it has one woman and one man restroom, baby changing in women's. Clean.
Yes, they are an All Purpose bakery. Go in and talk to the owners, great folks. Kosmo
Absolute Bakery is not a Grocery store. Go to Durango or Cortez for your Grocery items. Kosmo
No, but the park is across the street if you takeaway.
Yes
I love, love love this place!!! My favorite thing to order is the southwest strudel, I cant get enough of them and their cinnamon rolls are fantastic too. to be honest I have not ordered anything that was bad. Absolute Bakery is a must if you are wanting great food at a great price!
This place is awesome They have a coffee bar, a lot of tables for eating, great decor, friendly people, interesting things to do and look at. Great food ! We stayed here for around three hours all together with waiting for table and then hanging out afterward. Baked goods are awesome. We broke down and had no choice but to come here, and I am more than thrilled it exists.
I haven't even finished my quesadilla and I'm leaving this review. Not what I expected in the best way possible! Super hearty, full of flavor! Atmosphere is perfect for artists and people of the sort. Very impressed and I don't leave reviews often.
Love this place! We always eat here when we come to Durango. Great food, awesome staff, super fresh! Breakfast: get the Mesa Verde stack you'll thank meLunch: get the Spicy BaconPro tip: as you pay for the bill pick up some baked goods to go for your hotel later or the road home. Get the walnut brownie
What a lovely place! The lavender lemonade is a MUST. Such sweet people.
I had the Mancos grill. Very good. Felt like a kid in the candy shop when I saw all the desserts. Yummy 😋
Amazing little place the food was scrumptious..so friendly...met Kathy what a sweet heart...No one cafe....will dine there again and again....
Just as good as I remembered. We are vacationing from Oklahoma and this was one of our first stops because the food has always been amazing. Today was no exception.
So glad that they are open and strict about virus guidelines. Great meals twice. Almost felt normal at the picnic table.
The quiche with blue cheese is sublime! Local bakery owned with very friendly services and good protocols for Covid-19.I had put my Indonesian coin on their wall to remember by and hoping to come back one day.Thank you for your service!
Food was absolutely fabulous. Second time there.
Fantastic cafe open for breakfast and lunch a short drive from the Mesa Verde Visitors Centre and an alternative to driving to Cortez.
Tasty cheese burger, the coleslaw and potato salad were real good.
Waited forever to get our order . Several customers behind us got theirs and we still waited and waited. High prices and sandwiches were just ok. Was glad to see them be concerned about corona thou. Friendly staff.
Social distancing protocol was outstanding. Macaroons and coffee were good as well.
Excellent breakfast and lunch, truly delicious, a must stop for foodies
What a great place. We had breakfast wraps and they were fantastic. We love these small, hometown places. A place that you should try if you are anywhere near the Moncos, Colorado.
The place was very popular, with a line out the door. Granted. It was a socially distant line but still impressive. The service was a bit slow, which is to be expected with a line like that. My quiche was good, my dirty chai was only alright. I'd give three stars but they were open on a Sunday during a pandemic and trying their best so I bumped it up.
The Cubano is delicious and very filling.
Food...tasty. Staff...friendly. Atmosphere...love the old hardware store repurposed vibe. Promoting local artists...cool. 😎
I used to drive 30 mins to Mancos just to come here and support them. We had terrible service and every interaction I had with the server she was just nasty and rude. I felt extremely uncomfortable.
So glad they are still open for take-out! Always great service and delicious food. If you like sourdough, make sure to take a loaf home. So yummy
Stopped through to grab some lunch on our way to Mesa Verde, trying to patronize a local business. I'm happy they're enforcing social distancing but it could probably be a little less harsh - my wife basically got yelled at while approaching the counter when the person before her seemed to linger well after her purchase was complete. Food was very good but way overpriced. The wait was excessive for what we ordered - 2 burgers and 2 quesadillas. 40 minutes after placing the order and seeing others who were in line after us get their order we had to check and were told only 1 cook...just thought it would have gone in order.
On Main Street next to the old bridge is this fabulously fresh Cafe in a rustic building. They serve vegetarian and meat options for breakfast and lunch. Everything is freshly made. Wonderful daily quiches. Fresh free-range eggs, delicious pastry and coffee.
Amazing find on way back to Texas from Telluride. Able to park very close. Great assortment of cookies, brownies, pastries & wraps -- had super brownie w/walnuts & breakfast burrito w/bacon, cheddar, potatoes, chile and nice seasoning -- highly recommended. Aside from the noteworthy food choices, the relaxed vibe and helpful staff were exactly what you would hope to find in any neighborhood bakery -- wish I lived closer. A++
The food was really good. They need to work on the customer service but cannot complain to much. I was shocked to find out that they did not provide wifi for the customers.
Omelet and blueberry pancakes were good. Just small portions for what you pay for. Got some cookies to go and were yummy.
Popular bakery and cafe near the river in Mancos, they bake their own breads and desserts and make fresh breakfast and sandwiches. Good food in an interesting, eccentric environment with art from local artists and several shelves of used books for sale. Open only for breakfast and lunch, and there's no WiFi, so enjoy your conversations with your meal. :)
Charming and delicious! Appreciate the vegan and vegetarian options!
It was the only breakfast place in the area I believe and we couldn't have been happier. Everything was good. Very on the ball staff. They were very busy and the service didnt suffer one bit.
Great Local place with good healthy options to eat. Breakfast was amazing. They also have lots of organic homemade treats to take home. Its a must every time we travel in this area.
We had the green chili stack so delicious. We had a great waiter who was thoughtful. And we had cookies on the house to try Burnt Butter Cookie to be exact, Absolutely delicious. We even took some to go on our hike. Great place to eat.
Great ambiance. Good food friendly staff
Good healthy homemade food!
Excellent quiches! Great tasting food overall. Love this place!
Brilliant place. My mom and I ate here twice during our overnight stay at a nearby farm. The burgers, coffee, scones, and quiche were excellent! The staff was so sweet, and you can tell this business takes pride in organic cuisine.
Folksy place, great breakfasts. Good coffee.Awesome sign, hand painted probably 25 years ago - still looks good.
Cute atmosphere, love that they have nondairy milk options, and the coffee was amazing!!!
What a wonderful find! This is THE place to grab breakfast in the area, with people coming from Durango too, so don’t leave your visit too late esp on a weekend. Incredibly fresh local food. The Mesa Verde stack (eggs, green chile, plenty of other great stuff) was heavenly. Also super friendly with kids (coloured in menus get stuck on the wall) and some fantastic merch too (see photo). Special thanks too to Chandler who was an exceptional waiter. Don’t miss this place!
Upbeat ambiance and tasty food and baked goods. Super friendly staff. The macaroons are the best anywhere. Had the Veg Head with gluten free tortilla and it was a plentiful amount and well prepared and flavorful. (It's hard to find a good gluten free tortilla.) I would highly recommend the Absolute to tourists and locals.
Stopped in on a whim looking for a breakfast spot while on our way to Mesa Verde National Park. We loved the charm of the old building on our initial entry but it was the breakfast burrito that had us talking after leaving this gem. While we're not locals and we were on vacation from Florida I would certainly stop here again when I'm back in the Mancos area.
Great place to stop! I had the Blueberry Lemon bar this morning - amazing. I also grabbed the turkey, sun-dried tomato aioli sandwich for lunch. The sandwich is beyond yummy. You can eat outside and experience this quaint little town too!
This is one cafe that is in a small town and popular with the locals. We ordered the Greek salad and pesto pasta with sauteed vegetables. Unfortunately, they forgot our sauteed vegetables, but quickly brought them out separately once we reminded them. The pasta was good. It was a little light on the salt, but that can be easily fixed with a little sprinkle on the top. The salad was a good size. The chicken was a little overcooked, but tasted good. They Lso have a good selection of drinks, but we only got water. After your meal, you will pay at the front. The ambience is very homely. They have used books for sale as well as a variety of hand stitched wall hangings and other decor.
Absolutely delicious cinnamon rolls and apricot blueberry scones. The ciabatta rolls were also very good. Get there early for best choices. The Baker knows the craft.
Good food good coffee but overpriced, like everything in this town
Their cookies and lemonade are phenomenal. A great little stop on our trip.
Nice little cafe with good food and friendly staff. Fresh cinnamon rolls and a small coffee bar here. Easy recommend if you're in the area and need some coffee, pastry, or other grub.
Awesome setting in a historic building. Great breakfast wraps! Try the apple strudel!
